The fur on their belly is about 5 inches thick! Snow leopards are generally smaller than most big cats, they weigh only about 30-50 kg. Their tails are almost as long as their bodies! They're very shy, they are hardly ever seen out in the open.
Marten's natural enemies are wolves, coyotes, bobcats, foxes, and birds of prey. Baby martens are born blind and naked and feed off their mother's milk for the first 42 days of their life.
